“It is really frivolous to hold an extraordinary press conference of Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski on September 28, and to this day we do not have the laws that he so urgently announced in the Parliament. In contrast to the government’s irresponsibility, we as a group of deputies the next day, on September 29, proposed a law for amendments to the Law on Energy through which schools, public enterprises and hospitals would be on the regulated market, and we want to intervene as soon as possible,” he said today. at a press conference, MP from VMRO-DPMNE, Antonio Miloshoski.

“Unfortunately, the ruling majority, even though the law is only made up of three members, a week still does not deceive us that the proposed legal solution of VMRO-DPMNE is being translated. In other words, it is delayed because the government is not able to submit to the Parliament the draft laws for which Kovacevski said that they are urgent, that he has them, that he is looking for support, and there is not even a trace of them in the parliamentary archives. And that’s why it’s pointless to talk about supporting laws that don’t exist and haven’t been submitted to the Parliament,” says Miloshoski.
He also said that “regarding the loan law with the EBRD, we have said several times as the opposition that we doubt the spending of the funds that the Government makes from such loans and from the budget itself. And we saw that certain media that worked on investigative journalism determined that during the crisis related to the pandemic and the energy crisis, many funds were also misused to buy certain things that have no contact point with the health or energy crisis. And 25 million euros from this law for a loan before the EBRD are provided for additional salaries and employment, which the government does not do domestically in ELEM-ESM”.
